Golden peach blossom
Hypericum monognum L., also known as Gouhu Flower (Huoshan, Anhui), Golden Thread Butterfly (Nanchuan, Chongqing, Yueqing, Zhejiang), Passing Yellow (Fengjie, Chongqing), Golden Thread Begonia (Laoshan, Shandong), Golden Thread Lotus (Shiquan, Shaanxi), and Earthly Forsythia, is a semi evergreen small tree or shrub in the Primulaceae family. It withers at the end of each growing season above ground and is perennial underground. The small branches are slender and multi branched, the leaves are papery, sessile, opposite, long elliptical, and the flowering period is from June to July.
